5. Starting Over and Furniture Sketching

Since last time, I've started on the gallery again, and we have discussed more game mechanics to do with the basic tasks the player will do per painting. For the Gallery, I decided instead of drop down fabric, I will use curtains to reveal the artwork, which would allow me to incorporate a nice animation to spice things up for the player. Drawing all the bricks is going to take time, but beyond that Amy also mentioned where I can to add eye as a motif in the drawings. Which I agreed to.
I have also sketched out some furniture for the bedroom based on actual furniture in my house and pinterest references. The bedroom will be my scene as I have discussed with Amy, so it will be good to get it done as soon as I can as it is an essential scene needed at the very beginning of the game. I need to include a desk, journal, broken mirror, window, bed (because its a bedroom) and two doors, one going to the gallery and other is the exit. I also have to make sure everything is aged and withered, to add to the vibes of an abandoned wing of the palace.
Lastly,In the gallery scene working with the angle I've chosen (becasue it looks cool), I have to make the perspective work well, I am using straight lines going from the point of disappearance (I can't remember the technical name) out as well as using the horizon line as a guide so when I draw the bricks they are more believabily in perspective( I know I won't get it 100% correct, but if it looks 80% of the way there, I'll be happy).
